Trying to live each day positively, kindly and harmlessly.
I have been feeling 100% lately in mind and body. At the moment I am eating completely vegan, and have done for a few months now. I can’t even begin to describe how happy I am feeling about this - how energised I am, how great my workouts have been, how shiny my hair is! I’ve recently started a veggie/herb garden in my backyard and we have been growing the yummiest passionfruit ever, they are so sweet. I have been using fresh basil nearly everyday in pastas/salads and I just love eating from my own garden!!
Just a quick update :) Hope you’re all well and are living in a way that suits who you are xxx
Anonymous asked: I've had 2 days this week where I have binged and eaten 3,400 cals per day and I feel so bad I don't know how to stop I gained 4 pounds askfkfsjfkf help
Okay here’s what you’re going to do:
- STAY AWAY FROM THE SCALE!! It usually takes 3500+ calories on top of what you normally eat to gain just one pound. The weight gain is most likely water weight, or just the food that is collecting in your body. It will probably go down in its own time. Focus instead on inches lost or fitness gained
- Forget about it. It’s in the past so there’s nothing you can do to change it. Focus on the future instead, write down any goals that you want to achieve and use that to motivate you.
- Continue to nourish your body with foods. I like to make sure I eat enough during the day so I don’t feel like binging/over eating at night to compensate for feeling hungry
- Figure out why you binged: were you bored, restricting, emotional? Then figure out what you can do to stop future binges. Take a bath, go for a walk, do some yoga, paint your nails, call a friend!
You will be fine lovely! I know how much binging sucks and how bad you feel after it, but you are absolutely worth so much more than the foods that you eat xxx
